Why doesnt PFet switch on.

I changed the parameters and now it works.

The default fet configuration here on EC is somehow weak for IC circuits and can only handle upto a few 100 µA Id. Increase the channle width to source around 1A. Its about 500µm. Default is 3µm

If you want it to act like a real power mos you need to put width in the millimeter range. The default is more suited to cmos logic circuits.

500µm is good for 600mOhm Rdson. You can put two in parallel of 10mm and get around 40mOhm Rdson. And I do increase the VTO to about -2V which i think is much closer to a real power mosfet.

Woaw, are these parameters mentioned in a device datasheet, I can not remember ever seeing these parameters in a datasheet. Thanks for the advices!
