Boost converter using a 555 for control

Based on https://theorycircuit.com/boost-converter-circuit-555/ with added AC->DC using half-wave rectifier. I just used a half-wave rectifier to save space on the schematic. Perhaps there are some mistakes in it as it doesn't quite work properly
