A wiring setup that allows a single light to be controlled from two separate locations, typically used in hallways, staircases, or large rooms. Achieved using two SPDT switches (also called two-way switches in Europe or three-way switches in the US) with traveler wires connecting them. The COM terminals act as the switching gate, while the travelers form selectable current paths.
