Will passive pitch shift an audio signal up one octave, using a ring modulator and a full wave rectifier in paralell, which can be controlled with the four bias pots. The output signal gets heavily compressed, as the output never goes higher than 2V it seems (idk why). Makes a lot of strange metallic overtones. When playing more than one note at a time, the beat in the different intervals will work as a kind of tremolo-distortion thing that makes some intervals pulsate in different time. (This makes it very muddy when playing chords, but intervals of 2, especially fifths and thirds sound amazing on guitar. as for synth, i only have a monophonic one, but with a bit of reverb in front of the pedal i get a nice subtle resonance between each note.) For the transformers i use R2 Audio Cattle
