Look more closely at your 555 circuit also

555 requires at least 3V to work.

I bought a can of BEAR SPRAY. I have not got chance to see if the spray works.

Add 9v, add 1k for secondary turns, and add Gnd on one end of the secondary and one on the Gnd of the 555
