Potentiometer voltage measurement w. extra divider on input

A calibrated potentiometer is used to measure voltage by adjusting it until no current flows between the wiper and the point under test. In this circuit there is also a voltage divider at the "input" which scales the voltage being measured, at the cost of nonzero load on the circuit.
