Power for nes with random wallwort

Have an NES without the original power cord need 9 volts have a old 21 volt transformer. I will build and see if it works

I would love some feedback as to a safer more efficient circuit so i dont fry my nes.

A safer option would be to get a +9V linear voltage regulator. It would still not be very efficient but it would be a very stable 9V source
