un petit test je cherche a faire une alimentation variable de puissance il sufira de brancher un mosfet a la place de l'ampoule et d'ajouter un self pour filtrer la haute fréquence

Circuit draws 600mA in worst case. It would roast the 555 I think...

Yes the manufacturers minimum resistance for the timing resistors is 1k, so there needs to be a 1k resistor between the top of the potentiometer and the Vcc

What @BillyT mean is this. Add an 1kOhm current limiting resistor so the discharge pin7 is not overloaded. Increase the pot total resistance by a factor of e.g. 10 while the cap is going down by factor 10. With this we keep the timing and lower the current http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5441112100831232
