Your circuit is a start and is basically correct, the circuit would be easier to understand if laid out neatly, and as you have shown, the negative rail at the bottom and the positive rail at the top. A few more tips, 1. 1Vac on the power supply won't do much good as the positive diodes drop 0.7 of a volt so do the negative ones. This = 1.4 Vac thus there is nothing left over to go thru the diodes. 2. I also use a filter capacitor that is about 100 - 470uF. http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5332843093032960
