What I've tried to do is create some simple led circuits with as few components as possible.
These can all be built fairly easily on a breadboard or with some alligator clip jumpers.

First, all leds are set at 2v and 20ma. These settings can be changed by selecting the led then the wrench icon. In real life leds have different voltage and current depending on size color application etc...
