My connect cable arrived yesterday with male connections on both ends and my large expectations became large disappointments.
My 4 wire TRRS connection from Smartphone to input on Tablet and using AR Oscilloscope software on Tablet. Set to microphone input.
Phone playing YouTube range of hearing video 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. On Tablet, 100 Hz looking like good sine wave up to 3500 Hz. As frequency increased the lumpy digital sine wave appeared.
Soundcard limitations on one device would affect the other. Seems limited to 100 Hz. to 3500 Hz. range. When paused or cable removed it takes a few seconds to recover from change.
I had to turn volume to high on both devices.
