Simpel soft latching power switch

This is a simpel latching push button power switch

Made from what i had in my junk bin

1 x p-channel mosfet logi level is best to use if you have to use a low V supply i use a IRF9630
2 x pnp transistors any will do just adjust the resistors if needed to what you have i use BC547

The capasitor can be from 22 uF to 100uF. 

Try it out on a breadbord. 

Hope you like it

I have tested it on breadbord, and it works down to 5 volts can go as low as 3 volts but not 100% stabel at 3 volts

With a load of 12 volts and 800mA the p-FET only make 0.5 watts of heat.

I have now found the EEVBLOG one and yes they are alike, I starte out useing dif values coz the frist i made for for 36V. and then you need dif resistors and dif cap to make it work or the time delay is to small. woring on a powersupply atm and will upload it when ready
