I don't know for sure, but I think the LED is burning because when right transistor is on, the current through LED is not limited (by a series resistor).

It also seems to me that unless you include a switch, the app starts the system at the asymptotic DC operation point for a circuit like this. (Note: the switch has to be re-set manually to re-run the cricuit: select switch in the circuit and then near the "edit settings" icon is an "open switch" icon.
