Set the resistor to 350 ohm to get the rated 20 milliamps through the resistor. If you speed up the sim to 1 sec/sec you see that this capacitor doesn't light the led very long, but that is because capacitors cannot hold as much charge as a battery.

Thanks! I updated the resistor and made the capacitor just a bit larger so that it show the effect better at 1sec/sec

You're welcome, also, I Just realized I meant to say 20 milliamps through the led, not resistor.
