When you hit the swich the lamp will turn on ever by letting the swich go for secondes "Reatime simulation"
This actually happens because the capacitor is decharging on the base-collector which will saturate the transistor and let a currenter flow in the emmitor-collector...
The transistor can be saturated for 1 fA and the capator will actually take a lot of time before it decharges less than 1 fA
The more the resistance in the base the more time you get out of it and less current for the lamp
