Blinking Led

Adjust the 470k resistor to speed or slow down the blinking, or to slow the blinking you can increase size of the capacitor. This is based on a 2V 20ma rated LED. The 400ohm resistor in front of the LED drives the LED just below max current rating at a conservative 14.4ma. Lower the 400ohm resistor to increase the milliamps, just keep in mind the current rating of the LED you are using and don't exceed the current it's rated at.

Output voltage 7.76v - 2v forward voltage of LED = 5.76v Divide by LED Forward Current of 0.02 amps gives a resistor rating of 288 ohms. Your resistor at pin 3 is too high.

Sorry output voltage at pin 3 is 7.5 volts 7.5 volts - 2v LED Forward Voltage = 5.5v 5.5v / 0.02 LED Forward Current = 275 ohms resistor required

Use a 200ohm resistor instead of the 400k one (I'm referring to the output one).

So @zeeman2000 i put a 275 ohms resistor.... but... what is the pin 3? Sorry for the stupid question

@SkeLe if i put a 200 ohm resistor at the output of the 555 it changes nothing!

Replace the 400,000 ohm resistor with 200 ohm, pin 3 is the output where the led is.

Pin 3 is Out pin, zoom in circuit to see pin's numbers on IC

Hello, I put 300ohm on output resistor instead of 400k. It is working.

When you put 200 ohm in make sure there is no k, 200k will not work as it will not allow enough current through to light the led , 200 ohm works just fine

As they said, your resistor cut off too much current before it got to the led. I just dialed the resistor back to 200 ohms and it worked fine. That's all.

Soery, but if i put a 200 ohm resistor at pin 3 it changes nothing

It works fine with 200 ohms resistor

You have to make an non inverter amp with a 500 ohms behind the led
