A diode - a competition

Today's contribution to the EC community is a diode. This is a competition of the best tradition in the pursuit of pure wisdom. Now, you can also add to my contribution, by placing your components, ideas and solutions around this diode. This is a great opportunity. A fantastic invitation to create whatever invention you like. Don't feel shy! This is no joke! Rather this is your chance to win the biggest acclaim as electronic inventor on EC and indeed possibly the whole world! If necessary, you may choose to delete the diode. It's prime function is not electronic in nature. It is simply a starting point for the best of your ideas to come flowing fourth in a torrent of magnificent brilliance. It's very important to note that here I don't ask for your help in solving my doctoral thesis, my college home work or other education project. Indeed this has nothing to do with that style of subnormal intelectual depleted uranium enrichment. Good luck!
