Using a simple capacitor to remove any DC offset from the input audio signal

Shows why a small capacitor is used in the input of Analogue Synth modules to remove any DC offset in the audio signal. Essentially once the capacitor is charged it blocks the DC voltage whilst still allowing the AC (Audio) signal to flow through. The input signal has a 5 volt offset that is removed by the capacitor leaving just the 440Hz signal.
