Change fixed resistor to 100 Ohm and potentiometer to 500 Ohm. In EC the default LED current is 20mA with a 2V drop across it. At the top end the potentiometer is 10% which equals 50 Ohms. This in series with the fixed 100 Ohm gives 150 Ohm. To give 2V across the LED, with your 5V supply, we must lose 3V across the 150 Ohm. R=V/I = 3/(0.02) = 150 Ohms. As you wind the potentiometer down it’s value will increase and the current will be reduced, making the LED less bright. Hope this helps.
