Can a cheap inverter dissipate such peaks because of the capacitor? I don't think so...

3uF parallel to 220V mains, no problem, but why do you ask?

Usual 220v mains yes, but not a square wave inverter.

where do you see 700Watt at the capacitor. run simulation slower and you can calculate watt(t) at about 1200Watt but this will be only a problem for the inverter and not for the capacitor, at least not at this low frequency

Yes, I dunno why I wrote that, I meant to say 700 watt peaks caused by the capacitor
