How would you control the Voltage?

Not to mention frequency control. Both of these controls, would normally be part of a square wave generator used in electronics testing & design. If this were a single use design used in a given circuit, then yes, it is a real square wave signal source.

Name nomenclature is sometimes very messy. I think this is not gnerator cuz generator as word should indicate a selfdriven device. Means it use any form of fedback or feedforward clossed loop technique to achieve output. But frequently in books a theoretically converters such as square to sawtooth or sine to triangle are called generators where typical selfdriven generators are called normally as oscillators stating that those two words should means two different circuit type but as so far i was think those are means the same.
