On magnetek hpv900 series2 there are opto coupler with open collectors or grounding through the phototransistor to a common ground potential. This goal is to use a switch to ground to simulate the logic output and rest is the circuitry attached to a 9v to create an led lit indicator. the switch to ground can have 50v max and 150mA. I am aiming for 50mA and limiting it with resistors. This simulation is to make a circuit maybe a test with a stock drive. Then the simulation and working copy sent to the boss. Finally this at my own expense will be folded into a kicad design and a board will be spun so that testing will be more understandable and hopefully look more professional.
