Ways to compesate diode voltage drop

On the left side voltage drop is compensated with another diode giving around 0.7V to a reactifing one Sig+0.7V On the right side op-amp is in voltage follower mode. Op amp always tries to keep its inputs at the same voltage so it pushes the "right" voltage through the output to keep the input voltages the same. You can get precision results with op amp
