LED activated by a 2N4401 transistor, which is controlled by a digital switch.
Close the switch to activate the LED.
Notice that the power source is assumed to be connected to ground. (There is no "point source" of voltage.) And, the "digital switch" (Q on S1) on our trainer supplies a voltage to the Base of the transistor when ON.
