This isn't free energy.. simply the not logic gate is an ACTIVE component that needs POWER SUPPLY. Like the op amp but in this case the not logic looks in the input a zero logic (input to ground) and then it uses the power supply to give in the output a 1 logic state that means you have a positive dc voltage in the output. For this reason the lamp is on: no bugs, no magic. :/
