To see it in real time, change the sim speed (the clock at bottom) to 1 s/s, then change the capacitor to maybe 100 and the resistor to 10k. If you are new to electronics or just this app a suggestion is to look at the Examples tab circuits and maybe download the app called "Lessons in Electricity" that covers a lot of basics.
