The simulator requires the 555 to be grounded. Also the transformer isolates the primary circuit from the secondary circuit, back feeding the secondary to the primary is not going to complete the circuit. This makes the mosfet gate float.

Just a couple of things, besides what is mentioned above. 1. 220 Vrms is 311 Vpeak. 2. Switch is best between power source and any use of said power. 3. As 555 requires about 15Vdc transformer ratio should be roughly 220 to 10 or 12 . 4.The flashing rate of the 555 is far too slow, speed it up a bit. 5. A gate resistor for the Fet is advisable. 6. A bigger filter capacitor on the bridge is also advisable. 7. Capacitor across the output could be smaller, particularly at that voltage. 8. It is not an n channel controlling a led.
