Arduino. This cct is a interface between a Arduino delepment board and a siren module. The module I use has two differend tipes of 
Sounds. The input (represented by the pulse generators) is the output from the Ariuno module. This cct can also be used for a Pic 
project.

You can save the first transistor stage, just by emulating an open collector output in SW!! Toggle between highZ-input and 0V-output. This can be made by pinMode(PINx, INPUT) for high Z and just digitalWite(PINx, LOW). HighZ LED off and LOW LED on. You need one resistor from PNP base to arduino port e.g. 1kOhm. And put one from base to plus even in your existing circuit, because your external NPN open collector lets the PNP float in case of highZ. Have fun
