SIMULATE THE CLAMPER CIRCUIT AND COMPARE THE OUTPUT VOLTAGE WITH THE WAVEFORM IN EXAMPLE 20-8.REVERSE THE POLARITY AND CHANGE THE VALUE OF V1 AND OBSERVE THE DIFFERENCE.       How does this compare to Ex. 20-8?      What changed when you changed the value of V1?

I see why this one is getting that pulse. Add the output to the op-amp to the plot. I recreated your circuit in falstad and it is behaving the same way. https://tinyurl.com/yc3rjbu8
