When hard times come your way, and you are bankrupt, out of credit, and all kinds of mouths to feed, the sheriff has put you out of your house and sold off your slaves, and winter cold finds you without wood or coal fuel.  Consider this simple circuit to put that firelight glow on your isinglass (or mica) heating stove door.  Your neighbors walking by will think you are warm and cozy with a little planning and know-how. This uses candle flicker light bulbs.  These come in 3 watt at 120 volts to give a candle like shimmer and other size bulbs.  Place these inside stove to flicker on stove glass to simulate a burning fire. Caution: if your junk heating stove has to have fire place poker hold the broken hinge heating stove door shut.  A freezing guest may try to move closer to stove and trip the fire place poker prop holding the door in place.  When the door falls down it may show no fuel in the stove. If dog fights is your new affordable entertainment, you may have to go with the lighted tallow-candle as this story is told in Chapter 7 of “The Gilded Age- A Tale of Today”.  Maybe a few reflectors to juice up the candle light?
