Simple FM Transmitter

It works pretty good. I built it. For coil, .08mm enamel coated wire, with 4-5 10mm turns. The 10pf cap following the transistor is adjustable. Power with a 9 volt battery. Input line level audio. Search the FM band with a radio. Only drawback is that it is mono.

The adjustable 10pf cap is the one that goes to ground after the transistor.

In this configuration it oscillates with about 580MHz

Friend of mine build once w time similar transciever but use more advanced construction to achieve a whole one watt of emission power. On second day after he start test transmissions a police take him in the morning. Beware of build transmitters more than 20mW of power whose use commercial radio frequencies.

antenna is above 470ohm resister. Only built for fun, only on for a minute.
