This is a simple guitar distortion circuit which uses hard clipping with diodes.. The idea was to build this inside of the guitar as small and simple as possible. There are 2 switches, one for clean or distorted output. The other one is for two different levels of distortion; two different gains before the clipping circuit. I have one volume control for both clean and dirty. The problem now is there needs to be attenuation before the first op-amp, so the levels can be the same when you hit the selector switch. I ran out of space though and I didn't feel like redesigning it! So, a voltage divider there and it should be good to go!
