I built this circuit while trying to figure out how the digital numbers on alarm clocks and digital watches work. This circuit contains a 48V DC source with seven resistors connected in parallel and seven switches to control current flow to each terminal of the 7 segmented digital display The 7 segmented display is rated at 48V I recently started and still am still learning so my circuit may look basic to some😅

Good trial may you make a simple amplifier using transistor

Good way to learn, at the moment, your seven segment display is rated at 2V 20mA. There is almost 40mA going to each segment, increase the resistors to at least 2k to lower the current. The back input of the display is the decimal point, hook it up the same as the front inputs. (ps: most electronic logic circuits now work at a 5V level.)
