Don't know if it has a better name than this, but, I will use it to make a new tesla coil With lots more power. (yes i Know its not a slayer exciter coil. but it is based on the same concept) Unique Circuit? Also does this have an already existing name or not?

Not exactly the same very close

it's a fairly common arrangement in low power high voltage devices; plasma balls, bug zappers, air ionisers. output is usually rectified through a voltage doubler.

getting this circuit to work is highly dependent on the feedback from the secondary side, impedance of the primary and feedback windings, characteristics of the transistor; you will have to play with the bias voltage to get it to oscillate. be careful

the reverse diode actually offers very little protection if you're going to dump current (ie. make sparks) on the secondary side. the current spikes will also pull the primary and secondary coils negative, causing the diode on the base to conduct very high currents, which will flow through the base-collector junction and kill both the diode and the transistor. also be careful

Yes and I noticed that when I ran it first time. I would suggest a current limiting resistor on a retifier diode.

It didn't blow up though, I kind of expected it unfortunately.
