interesting, :) especially how the pull-up resistor saves power. (it's possible to do without it, but current consumption with both inputs on goes up by almost 10ma.) it uses a little less power if you make the resistors nearest the switches 10kR, and the other two base resistors both 470R.

Probably the best setup would be 30k biasing resistors all round and a 300 ohm load resistor.
