This is a simple transistor SCR circuit that fails to operate as it should forcing you to add a switch to correct the problem, if you start the simulation with the gate ungrounded it will immediately latch as if a voltage was applied to the gate, clearly there is an issue with the initial solution that needs to be fixed.
There is also a similar issue with closed loop systems be they using a op-amp or discrete components which can be seen in my other circuits.
I know EC is not a professional circuit simulator but it should at least be able to correctly simulate these basic circuits.
