Please Fix EveryCircuit

This is a simple transistor SCR circuit that fails to operate as it should forcing you to add a switch to correct the problem, if you start the simulation with the gate ungrounded it will immediately latch as if a voltage was applied to the gate, clearly there is an issue with the initial solution that needs to be fixed. There is also a similar issue with closed loop systems be they using a op-amp or discrete components which can be seen in my other circuits. I know EC is not a professional circuit simulator but it should at least be able to correctly simulate these basic circuits. Please bookmark this circuit so it gets the attention it deserves, I have already sent an email about this so hopefully there will be a fix soon.

I feel your pain. Ive been attempting to create my own circuit simulator because EC has so many issues due to its over simplification of everything. I really think EC is meant for beginners and simple circuits but, EC should fix this simple bias point problem.

reverse the transistors so they act more like pnpn junctions. bias the npn base junction off. secuture has a couple of examples of how to do this.

My simulator is not user friendly. You have to retype part of the C++ code that relates to the circuit. Specifying nodes and changing time steps to meet your sim needs. Its more of a pain than anything. I plan on using my GPU to speed things up for bigger circuits than EC can handle.

Do you know any other circuit simulator for Android?

I suggest you : replace the switch with a 10k resistor
