This circuit could be used to run a water pump to fill a water storage system at a site where full time occupancy is not required or warranted.
The circuit could contain one two pole relay, two relays are required by ECs configuration.
The blue switch is the systems key switch.
The green and orange switches are a floats changeover switches.
The lamp is part of the motor starting/running circuitry.
Press the Red switch momentarily to start the pump, it shorts out the second set of relay contacts on the relay to allow pump start/run circuit to work, if the float stop switch contacts are not open.
A float is used for the systems level control switching logic, the float system that provides suitable built in hysteresis could be used to allow the system to auto restart if the circuit provides for this, otherwise the relay just uses the second set of contacts and Red Start Switch to prevent automatic restart attempts.
This is just a basic circuit that could be used to manually start a pump system and auto stop it when necessary, after the operater left the site, for an intelligent automatic restarting control, a smart controller of some form would be required.
