Here we simulate a resistor divider based DC voltage sensing. The detected voltage is then fed to a comparator that spits out a logic high whenever DC voltage crosses 632VDC. The device is set to operate at logic LOW for rated voltage of 580VDC. The sensing resistors are rated at 1W power. In future, I will try to feed the signal data to resonant shunt-series switch in an attempt to attain regenerative braking of a DC motors. Basically controlling the switching of braking resistor. I will also need to plan a single-pulsed high-side driver for the n-MOS (or I can just simply stick up a p-MOS). Anyways for the shunt/braking MOS-switch I will definitely use a n-MOS switch.
