RF Sawtooth Oscillator

Wasn't planning on making it a Sawtooth Oscillator, but here it is.

Behaves quite chaotic. After start it turns into sawtooth and after a while it dies. After another periode of low frequency sinwave it sometimes starts up again for while as sawtooth. All in all very instable, but you noted already it was unplaned/accident.

Yes, this chaotic behavior I believe is caused by the low time constant of the emitter RC chain. I've often had these type of problems with blocking distortion, when I first began making tube amps. I used to make the input capacitor very large in respect to the input resistor, and due to the rectification properties of the tube, the grid potential would often rise above the conduction area. A higher time constant on the emitter RC chain should fix that.
