Electric over hydraulic system. Electric solenoids move a slide with valves and machined grooves to change flow of hydraulic oil. Center should be neutral position but simulator does not have three position settings.
Top circuit is electrical control circuit. Bottom is oil pump flow circuit and ground is flow into oil storage tank.
To simulate, change bottom SPDT switches to match solenoid position above and note how direction of oil flow reverses in bottom ram.
