Left side in simulator is hopper bin above an automatic fuel or material feed. The rectangle in hopper is brick or weight that will pull when at proper length the mounted chain pull switch to light lamp or bell alarm at right alerting worker to fill hopper material, reset weight, and pull switch.
Perhaps, some workers have another need for a simple monitor.
