All 3 circuit are totally different. I personally like 25V & 12V(Car Battery) Voltmeter Parallel. I don’t know feel safe to me. Put desire voltage, adjust the ohms how easy is that. 
-This is just for idea purpose ONLY. 
For exact amount you need to test yourself. 
-LED might die in real life depends on your load and it’s not my responsibility.
-working higher than 25V is not recommended.
