This circuit pulses a 1 watt led and only takes 2 mA that peaks at 58 mA on random flashes currently testing this circuit with 1 watt Led and getting bright flashes with the values show you will get bright flash at good at rate if you load the output to much it stops flashing you have to experiment with the led resistor you can increase the flash rate by changing the value off 4.7 uf or the 470k you have to experiment but I have tested and values shown give optimum results Transistors in this circuit NPN BC547 PNP BC 557 Have a improved version off this circuit that I will post later changes in new circuit are that you get a 300 mA pulse so it flashes led at a full 1 watt bright flash or you could use 3 1 watt LEDs @ 100 mA each. The current consumption is 2mA then build's up to a peak of 60 mA at random times don't know why it does this have built this and getting three times the brightness off this circuit
