Switch 1 is closed when garage door is down, while switch 2 is open, and vice-versa. When door is down, green LED is on, all others are off. When door is all the way up, red LED is on, all others are off. When door is travelling up or down, neither switch is closed, and yellow LED is on, all others are off.
