it does oscillate and will be in real time more a random generator. Keep the key pressed for a while and see how it flashes.

test is the fundamental job of this kind of circuit. different long key pesses. Different timing and/or cap calculation and test. different voltagr divider center point calculation and test. here we have a medium functiining with short tip/press it does work, but with long press it does work at one side as stable monoflop. It does not oscillate any longer ;-)
