Scratch Filter For Old Time Record Player

AC source on left is high impedance record player pickup.  The RF choke 10 mH coil and 100 nF capacitor (600 volt range) filter out the 5000 Hz. scratch noise before output to amplifier on right side.

Slowly increase frequency to 5 kHz and see the response.  The adjustable 200 K resistor is for volume control.
