Would this work as a parametric equaliser?
Bottom pot would be frequency, top pot would be depth.

It is 'parametric', of sorts. However a parametric eq. Normally has a variable Q. And a variable Frequency point together with a controlled bypass.

So the Q. Point should cut and gain and also be frequency variable
