Se puede utilizar para activar el mando a distancia de la puerta del garage, el circuito  se guarda bajo el capó y se alimenta de la lampara de alumbrado de carretera. Una ráfaga activará el mando que queda representado por la lámpara. Luego si se ha de encender el alumbrado durante un viaje, el mando sólo se activará por algunos segundos.
