May I ask why the diode? It seems to do nothing. Circuit performs the same without it.

anyway, what is the short circuit creterium in ampere. Turn up the bulb power to 100kW and see how the current raises but the fuse does not take action! hmmmmm

Hello, the diode is just for the induction in thr relay coil

Its true hurz! it works fine with loads not greater than 1kW
