Square from sine waves 2

I just realised this would look all right on non-Kindle versions of EC. It needs an infinite number of odd harmonics, but I don't have infinite patience. :) These 14 sine wave sources show the the principle very well anyway. I have forgotten what the relative values should be (voltages or mixer input resistors). Triangle wave didn't come out so well: http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5915167704743936

It doesn't need to be too many, the voltage levels just have to be correct.

@BillyT: Fair enough. I don't really remember what is correct.

The more and more harmonics you use, the faster and larger the overshoot at the edge of the square wave becomes.

And the triangle http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5114837056356352

@selman: Increasing overshoot is a good indication it's not mixed correctly. Cheers for the triangle!

@eekee, what you think is a triangle is more the development of a sawtooth http://everycircuit.com/circuit/6683936785956864

You make a triangle wave by making the resistors equal to the square of the harmonic frequency, like for the 1kHz source you need a 1kOhm resistor, for the 3kHz source you need a 9kOhm resistor, for the 5kHz source you need a 25kOhm resistor, etc. Don't use any even harmonics (2kHz, 4kHz, 6kHz, etc.), and make all the sources shifted by 90 degrees.
